Syllabus week checklist

The first week sets up the whole term. 0 of 12 done.

• Saved every syllabus where I can find it (a folder, my phone, printed).
• Put every due date from every syllabus into this planner.
• Wrote down each professor's office hours and how they want to be contacted.
• Read how each class is graded: what counts most, and whether late work is accepted.
• Know each class's attendance rule, and how many absences are allowed.
• Have my books or know where to get them free (see Free Textbooks).
• Can log in to each class's online page and have notifications turned on.
• Found the last day to add or drop, and the last day to withdraw, on my school's academic calendar.
• Know the refund dates for dropping a class (they're on the academic calendar or the bursar's page).
• Found the tutoring or writing center for my hardest class.
• Have one classmate's contact in each class, for the day I miss something.
• Introduced myself to at least one professor, in person or by email.
